Equine Therapy

Unmounted horse-based therapy that builds confidence, emotional awareness, and connection.

How it works

Unmounted equine therapy program

In our unmounted equine therapy program, children build connection, confidence, and emotional awareness by interacting with horses through guided activities like grooming, leading, and observation. This is offered through group and individual sessions.

Teaching important life skills

Horses are incredibly sensitive animals that respond to our body language, tone, and emotions in the moment. This makes them wonderful partners for teaching important life skills like:

Emotional regulation

Calming your body and mind

Clear communication

Asking for what you need respectfully

Building trust

In yourself and others

Healthy boundaries

Knowing when to say yes or no

Sessions led by professionals

Our sessions are led by a Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist, as well as an equine specialist, creating a safe, supportive space where children and adolescnts can grow their confidence, explore their feelings, and experience meaningful connection with horses, peers, and themselves.
